In 1988, Charles Pierce lost his battle with Lung Cancer. His son Tom, along with his wife Patty, decided that they should honor him by creating a foundation in his name. This foundation would raise funds where all profits would be donated to Cancer survivors and research.
The Pierce Family Foundation was formed.
In 2004, The Pierce Family Foundation held their first fundraiser, a golf outing at Prairie Bluff Golf Club in Romeoville, IL. This event was so successful, it became an annual event!
After the golf outing, the interest in The Pierce Family Foundation and what they stood for was amazing! The enthusiasm generated led to several fundraising events sponsored by PFF throughout the year—and that continues today.
Our goal is to make a positive difference in the quality of life of cancer survivors, cancer cure research and development, and to elevate cancer awareness throughout the community.
