Pierce Family Foundation Friends & Family,
I have been a Pierce Family Foundation board member since the foundation was established by my brother Tom. He established the foundation in memory of our father, Charles Pierce, whose life was taken way too early from cancer. I live my life every day doing the best that I can to imitate everything that he taught us growing up. He was always helping others, which is what led me to a career in IT. My primary focus is to help others use and understand how IT makes their lives easier….even a former president of the United States. In my 38 years as an IT professional I developed many skills. My goal with the foundation is to continue to use those skills to build on our impressive charitable donations to send kids with cancer to camp. I enjoy talking with the kids from camp that attend our yearly events. Their life journeys are so much more difficult than ours. It's incredible to listen to them talk about their futures. During my years on the foundation board I have served as the Treasurer, Secretary and now Vice President.
I have lived in Wheaton, IL with my wife since 1996. We have three adult children. I am one of five Pierce brothers. I enjoy golfing, watching sports and listening to music.
